One or possibly two students (depending on their availability) to assist us in the GIS program at TCOG in Sherman.
Compensation $12-15/hr DOE, up to 30 hrs/week
Duration 6 months with possible extension
Projects include:
· Scanning, digitizing, ortho-rectifying maps
· Creating new layers from paper maps, GPS or Ortho Imagery (planning and zoning layers)
· Creating and updating 9-1-1 addresses; running validation and topology on all public safety layers
· Export custom data for CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch)
