Requisition Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a staff
within Peterbilt Motors whose objectives include the growth and profitability of
an ever expanding dealer network. This position will work out of the Denton,
Texas office.
Job Functions /
Responsibilities
· Develop, analyze and produce high-quality market study packages to support dealer expansion activities in under-served markets.

Create customized
maps using Maptitude for use in proposals, dealer market study packages and
management presentations.
·
Manage and maintain
the Peterbilt Dealer Development database.· Provide analysis and performance data for Peterbilt dealers based on financial statements, truck, parts, service, finance and leasing results. · Manage and support Peterbilt’s Customer Satisfaction program. · Manage the Standards of Excellence program including annual program updates, completion reports, production of annual performance packages, and communications to Peterbilt Dealers. · Produce and distribute ad-hoc and routine reports which indicate the performance and growth of each Peterbilt dealer. · Develop, analyze and produce dealer lost-opportunity packages to drive dealer revenue and performance improvement. · Develop and distribute annual Dealer Truck Goals in conjunction with Peterbilt sales team using market projections and RL Polk registration data · Identify and complete department Six Sigma project initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business or marketing related field · 4+ years previous full time work experience strongly preferred · Technically savvy with spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and the ability to quickly learn complex mapping software · Knowledge of RL Polk data preferred · Ability to manage large, complex projects · High attention to detail, results-driven work ethic, and strong analytical skills are essential · Outstanding verbal and written communication skills · Strong personal computer skills including Windows, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required · Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop trusting business relationships · Up to 5% travel required TO APPLY |

Course credit for internships
Students who are interested in obtaining credit for internships should first secure an internship with a provider. Once confirmed, contact Dr. Hudak, for permission to register for GEOG 4920/5900.
You will be required to compile a portfolio during the course of your internship and provide a letter of assessment from the internship provider. Both will be used to determine a "grade" for the course.Monday, May 2, 2016
