Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors working toward a BS in Geography or Geology may have the opportunity to work in:
§ An Aggregates Quarry
§ Summer Projects that vary in scope and size just as our products do. By the end of the summer, you will have had the opportunity to work with some of our industry’s best and brightest managers.
§ Assignments that will involve learning all aspects of managing a quarry or sand & gravel operation, including Operations and Production, Quality Control, Sales, Maintenance, Environmental standards, Safety, and much more.
§ Opportunities that will include evaluating the production equipment and land surveying.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Course credit for internships
Course credit for internships
Students who are interested in obtaining credit for internships should first secure an internship with a provider. Once confirmed, contact Dr. Hudak, for permission to register for GEOG 4920/5900.
You will be required to compile a portfolio during the course of your internship and provide a letter of assessment from the internship provider. Both will be used to determine a "grade" for the course.Friday, February 20, 2015
